The BioGenerator converts hydrogen gas into electricity, and the unique approach addresses many of the issues of conventional fuel cells. The technology employs low-cost materials, has high electrical efficiency and can be scaled to megawatt capacity.

The technology is being commercialized for applications in large-scale power storage and smoothing of intermittent renewables.
